Our Early Foundational Years curriculum ensures a strong foundation for learning, with our youngest learners given ample opportunity to learn through play, whilst developing important literacy and numeracy skills to ensure that they can thrive in all areas of school life.
Our skilled practitioners support our youngest learners to develop in key areas like communication and language, numerical literacy, and gross and fine motor skills while at the same time encouraging them to become independent learners who remain curious about the world around them. This is done by tapping into each child’s interests to keep them engaged and challenged as they discover and explore.
Our learning environment, both inside and outside, is well-resourced and offers a wide range of multi-sensory learning opportunities. We balance play-based learning with the teaching of fundamental literacy and numeracy skills, Physical development, and music lessons, as well as personal social and emotional skill development.
Telugu / Hindi is taught as an additional language through a combination of discrete teacher-led sessions, and as part of continuous provision, with our outstanding teachers encouraging authentic and natural language acquisition amongst our youngest learners in Kindergarten.
Throughout their time at early years, our young learners have opportunities to follow their interests and take ownership of their learning. This is encouraged through first-hand experiences that create a sense of awe and wonder for children, inspiring them to learn more about the world around them.
“Our curriculum and approach are designed to ensure that a strong foundation is laid down to support your child’s further development throughout their life.”
