Assessments

At Lead India Bharat Ratnas School we believe in Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation which is the engine that drives student learning. Diagnostic, Formative and Summative Assessments allow both students and teachers to identify subjects and materials which students are learning successfully, and those with which they still struggle. Carefully administered assessments enable teachers to modify their lessons to provide enrichment to those students who are excelling with certain material, while also providing remediation to those students who are struggling with certain material.

  • Pre-Primary assessment allows for gathering comprehensive information about specific aspects of a child’s knowledge, behavior, skill level etc. which are observed and recorded for the purpose of making evaluative decision.
  • At our Primary, Middle & High School we follow CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) as per CBSE guidelines. Students are evaluated in academics which includes periodic assessments, assignments, project work, presentations, group activities etc., along with co-scholastic activities throughout the year.
  • Scholastic Assessment comprises of:
    • Four Periodic Tests PT-1, PT-2, PT-3 & PT-4
    • Two term end examinations known as Term End Examination – I and Term End Examination – II
    • Note Book Valuation and Subject Enrichments are done using the following techniques: Assignments, Projects, Experiments, Research papers, Competitions, Paper-pen Tests, Group Discussions, Group Activities, Seminars, Quiz, Observation and Oral presentations/Recitations.
  • Co Scholastic Assessment comprises of:
    • Work Ethics and Discipline
    • Physical Education (PE, Karate, Yoga)
