Our warm and friendly learning environment ensures that our children feel comfortable, happy and ready to learn. With each child’s success at the heart of all that we do, our outstanding teachers support and challenge our young learners, to ensure that every child fulfils their potential. With an array of opportunities on offer, and highly skilled teaching professionals well equipped to provide a rigorous learning experience, we are passionate about every child leaving us happy, confident and well-equipped for the next stage of their learning journey.
“We recognise that each child has a unique set of attributes and abilities. As LIBR, we encourage them to be inquisitive, informed, and independent individuals, who will be inspired to contribute to their community, become effective communicators with people from all cultures and walks of life and develop the social and emotional skills to flourish in the inter-connected world of the 21st century. Every child’s success as an individual is at the heart of all we do.”
Focused on celebrating diversity, valuing uniqueness, and supporting students to become the best version of themselves, the LIBR primary curriculum is at the heart of our school’s purpose and core values.
At LIBR we recognise that improving educational outcomes is the biggest way we can positively impact our student’s futures, and by developing students to be reflective, lifelong learners, they will learn the skills to be successful in a future which is yet to be determined. Thus, we aspire to have a curriculum that is ‘future proof’. This means preparing our young people for a rapidly changing world by providing a holistic and personalised curriculum which instils in them a global perspective.
We know that students learn best when they feel valued and supported. Social Emotional and Intercultural learning form the bedrock of the LIBR curriculum so that we can ensure that every student, parent and staff member experiences a strong sense of belonging and feel valued as a member of the vibrant LIBR community.
Our primary curriculum is divided into two sub mains.
